We had an energetic
group of Whole Foods Team Members at World Fest 2000,
and all of us had a great time ! We were impressed
by the size of the crowd for the 1st annual event, and
by all the wonderful people at Towards Freedom. They did
a great job securing a varied mix of companies and
organizations who work to supply quality Vegan products
and messages to an ever growing population of dedicated
people. Even though Whole Foods Market is not a
Vegan Only market, we truly respect that lifestyle
choice and endeavor to satisfy the needs and
availability for quality vegan products. Our thanks to
Sangeeta and her compassionate comrades for a gratifying
experience. We look forward to World Fest 2001!!

John
Robbins and I recently had the opportunity to
participate in San Diego’s Fall Fest, produced by
Compassionate Living. From beginning to end, it was a
pleasure and an honor to work with these committed
folks. They did an excellent job of promoting and
putting on this event, which in our opinion was a
wonderful service to the community of San Diego. Their
interactions with us were clear, friendly, and
professional. We look forward to working together in the
future.
Sincerely,
Deo
Robbins (partner of John Robbins)

As for the
festival…, it was such an incredible feeling to be
with so many like-minded
people, in such an open and warm atmosphere.
Having either led or
been involved in putting together several community
events and many conferences, I'm aware of how much work
is involved and just how much can go wrong too. It was
apparent that a great deal of work went into putting on
this event and it came off like a charm.
I so much appreciated the integrity that was clearly
inherent in coordinating the whole event and the camaraderie
and kinship which permeated the entire park.
Although I've been an ethically guided vegetarian for
over 23 years, after attending the Fall Fest, and of
course, hearing John Robbins speak, I found myself with
the desire to become more involved in actively trying to
effect a change in the world. Thank you for
reinvigorating me!
I extend my gratitude, appreciation and genuine
"thank you" to everyone involved in putting on
this terrific event and making such a critical statement
about "living compassionately" to so many
people in such a short amount of time.
Best wishes,
Jayne Reinhard
