WHERNTO: heedism notions
This is a story we often tell to those who feel they have suffered a loss of a loved one of any species.
When my son Kyron was about 7, he and I were having a discussion concerning death. Suddenly he said, "If you don't go, you can't come back."
It was a surprising moment because we had never broached the subject of reincarnation before. Then again, the young have left the source of wisdom more recently, so perhaps these things are still fresh in their minds and hearts.
Since we rescue animals (including the humanoid kind), we are constantly having to say good-bye, but we find it interesting that repeatedly those who leave, seem to re-appear within the personalities of those who haven't left.
So always keep watch, because I don't think any being who is cherished ever goes too far away.
