In this section, it is possible to create or track various portfolios by linking to a brokerage account, importing from csv file, creating manually. The portfolios are listed by name as well as any watchlists that are setup. News on portfolio items are also display on the Create a Portfolio with Holdings page. This setup seems worth doing even if you have things setup in a brokerage.

Current news on many topics and regions is found here in appropriate groupings. Some of the items are likely sponsored by organizations like Motley Fool who are trying to lure customers.

Shows calendar of events with selectable displays such as All Events, Earnings, Stock Splits, IPOs, and Economic Events. Below this calendar are various articles related to the market.

Grouping of stocks by sectors are shown here with percentage breakdowns of Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, Consumer Cyclical, Industrials, Communication Services, Consumer Defensive, Energy, Basic Materials, Real Estate. To the right, lies a heatmap of whatever sector is chosen. There is also a button 'Go To Sector', which will provide more detailed information and analysis of that sector including Industries in This Sector, Largest Companies in This Sector, Investing in This Sector (ETFs and Mutual Funds), Sector Research, From the Community, and lots of Sector News.

Custom screeners can be created, but there are several pre-built ones from YF+ (upgrade needed) and YF, such as Aggresive small cap stocks, Day Gainers, Growth Technology Stocks, Small caps with momentum, and many more. The scenes are shareable.

This section has suggestions on saving, spending, and preparing through a large collection of articles.

There are many videos on several topics organized by Program list (Shows, Series, Events), Editor's Picks, Latest News, Yahoo Finance Originals, Investing & Market Insights, Yahoo Finance Trending Stocks, Tech News, EV and Autos, Real Estate, Personal Finance, Good Buy or Goodbye? (which is quite clever).

A search bar to find an investment vehicle. Clicking in the bar initially gives some trending tickers.

Provides the main markets (Dow,Nasdaq,etc) in US, Europe, Asia as well as Bond/Note rates, some commodities, some forex currency pairs, and Cryptocurrencies.

These can be filtered by country right in the preview box. Alternately, clicking on the arrow shows a weekly calendar page which is the same as in the Markets section of Finance.

This is the starting point which provides a rudimentary chart with selectable timeframe, standard data about the company, Recent News, Performance Overview, Compare To, Statistics (Valuation Measures, Financial Highlights, etc), Research Analysis (including analyst recommendations). Some of the items have a View More link which provides greater detail and further information.

This section has lots of news articles about the stock grouped into All, News, Press Release, SEC Filings (categorized into relevant groups themselves).

Advanced charting for the stock is provided with customizable indicators and overlays. Events can be made to appear on the chart, but technical patterns require an upgrade. There is also a handy button to show a table view which can be copied/downloaded.

There are threaded posts by account holders and occasionally it is possible to determine sentiment due to some individuals putting up the bullish/bearish buttons.

There are many items here grouped by Valuation Measures, Financial Highlights, and Trading Information.

This section contains OHLC data which can be customized by time period as well as timeframes. The prices can be downloaded too.

Useful information is grouped here by Identity Details about the company, Key Executives, Corporate Governance, Description, Upcoming Events, and Recent Events.
