We are grateful for the exceptional care provided by Elk Lake Road Veterinary Hospital. From the very beginning, we have been impressed by their considerate, pet-first approach and their highly efficient operations.
The team is always easy to talk to and has consistently arranged things for us with impressive speed.
Our specific case involves seven domestic rabbits consisting of a mother (Fiver) and her litter (Scruffels, Puffels, Studdels, Cuddels, Buffels, Muffels). The mother required spaying on short notice, and they made arrangements to do it sooner than any other place we had tried.
The vet involved for all of the spayings and neuterings was Dr. Rachel MacLeod who is an exceptionally capable individual with a wide range of vet experience in various countries. Our interactions with her were not only positive, but made us feel that our rabbits were getting the best care possible! Each made it through the procedures just as Dr. Rachel put it “name-of-rabbit did very well”. Yes she knew each rabbit by name, and always did a follow-up call the next morning to make sure things were fine, which they invariably were, due to her expertise!
The rabbits are doing very well indeed, and eating our house, so we likely won’t need home insurance for much longer.
