Perplexity is designed as an advanced search engine alternative, excelling in finding and summarizing content from the web. The focus here is mainly on the pro version which will be referred to as PP. This iknote section contains concepts, explanations, and examples to illustrate the specific item being discussed. Many of the items are generated by PP itself!
File Analysis
PP allows users to upload an unlimited number of files, including PDFs, CSVs, PNGs, and analyze them using cutting-edge AI models to extract insights, ask questions about specific content, and leverage the AI's capabilities to work with your uploaded files in various ways. After highlighting the Capabilities and Summarization features generally, we examine several documents through PP to see just how well it performs. Note that PP will utilize not only the documents uploaded (maximum 4), but if the need arises, it will gather relevant information from the web as well.
LLM Model Access
Perplexity Pro gives you access to several advanced AI Large Language Models (LLM), each with its own strengths and capabilities.They appear when you click the 'Rewrite' button or you can go to your profile to choose one of them. TODO
