KEA from prison 25 years ago.

WHERE: ocean side of Kewalo Basin Marine Mammal Laboratory/the Dolphin
Institute (ewa end of Ala Moana Beach Park) Parking (free) available at
Kaka'ako and Ala Moana Parks, as well as metered at Kewalo Basin Harbor
WHY: To commemorate the liberation of Puka and Kea, 2 prisoner
Dolphins, from the KBMML on May 29, 1977- 25 years ago by Ken Le Vasseur
and Steve Sipman, and to remind people that there are 4 more captives,
hidden away from public scrutiny, in cramped, decrepit conditions. We are
calling for the animals to be rehabilitated and returned to the Gulf of
Mexico where they were dolphin-napped away from their family.
