| Farmers' Livestock Cooperative (FLC) This is the face of one of the condemned pigs at FLC's slaughterhouse in Ewa, HI - only hours away from her brutal slaughter.
Only some of the pigs slated for death the next day at FLC's slaughterhouse.
The chute where the animals are led to FLC's death row pens.
The filthy trailer where the pigs are forced to stay while being transported to FLC's deathcamp/slaughterhouse. They are often left to bake in the hot sun with no food, water, or medical attention. Animals transported in these types of trailers often become sick, disabled, or die.
The layer of filth inside the trailer that brings the animals to meet their horrible death. The stench is tremendous. The trailer must rarely be cleaned.
Half of the pigs slaughtered on O'ahu have suffered from being raised at factory farms in Canada, then transported for hundreds of miles by truck to California, and then put on ships for a miserable 5 day voyage - their destination a filthy, cruel slaughterhouse that has been cited over and over by the federal government for cruelty and unsanitary condition
