Cruelty to animals exists everywhere throughout the world. Whether it is the hamburger you ate, the fur-trimmed coat you wear, an 'exotic pet' that amuses you, the frog you cut-up for dissection class, it is important to understand the suffering that animals had to endure because of each of these acts. Our issues section will tell you what goes on behind-the-scenes – the part that most people don't see and some people don't want you to see. It is important to be aware of these realities so that we can make informed choices based not on advertisements but on understanding.
