Peter Otto
My name is
Peter Otto
, and I have
been a part of the racquet sport community since I picked up my
first tennis racquet at the age of nine. I quickly improved and
became one of the top players in Manitoba for each of the age
divisions throughout my junior career. I was selected to
participate in many specialized competitions including two Canada
Games, three Western Canada games, three Junior nationals, and
received a Tennis scholarship to Carlton College in Minnesota.

Despite playing a lot of Tennis, I still had some time to
play the other racquet sports, especially Badminton, where I made
the Provincial finals two out of the three years in the High
School program.
I have been a certified Tennis Canada Instructor since 1989,
and have been the Tennis Pro at many of the clubs in Winnipeg.

Since March of 1999, I started my company,
Courtside
Athlete Services
, to provide a variety of products and
services, which include:

Tennis Lessons (Outdoor: private, semi-private, group;
Indoor- introductory tennis skills to school students)

Racquet Restringing for all racquet sports (individual and
school groups)

Product sales (racquets, runners, accessories, and
court equipment)
I am currently the Tennis pro at 2 locations (Kildonan
Tennis Club and Harbour View Golf and Recreation Complex) and work
closely with the Manitoba Tennis Association, functioning as their
Technical Director. I am also an Advisory Pro with
Wilson Sporting Goods Co. (Manitoba).
