Hello, my name is Carmen, and I was born on February 12th, 1991. When I was about four years of age, I followed in my mother's footsteps of becoming a vegetarian.

I really started to get into the animal rights movement around the age of ten, and became a strict vegetarian, otherwise known as a vegan. I consume strictly plant products; nothing derived from animals. Not only has my choice saved many lives, but it was a great choice healthwise. I was also one of the founders of an animal group, called the Pony Pal club. We made newsletters, and handed out pamphlets on animal abuse. A couple of years later, we decided to change our name to Youth Against Animal Abuse, and help all of the animal friends we can...We made our website and take part in animal rights events regularly. |
