Horse Rescue and Adoption

My name is Maggie, and I have a story to tell.

I was born on a Pregnant Mare Urine farm almost two years ago. With the decline of the hormone replacement drug, Premarin, and the downsizing of the PMU industry, I lost my home. It was frightening to end up at auction...and then in a meat pen. As if my life had no more value than the money my flesh would bring.

But TRACS rescued me and some of my friends. How I love to be alive...galloping with the spring sun on my back and tasting the first sweet blades of grass!

Yet sometimes I wonder what happened to the buddies I left behind....

When all of us find homes, TRACS will rescue more of my friends.
