4k Family Fun Walk

A tightly-packed gravel trail with a gentle slope, surrounded by forest and featuring the magnificent Kinsol Trestle

Route: walkers are bused to the start at the trail head at Renfrew Road to start their hike along the Trans Canada Trail to the Kinsol Trestle.

Start time: 8:30 a.m. from the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.

10k Walk

A hard-packed gravel trail leading to McGee Creek with open views of interesting scenery

Route: walkers are bused to the start at the trail head at Renfrew Road to start their hike along the Trans Canada Trail to the rest stop at McGee Creek. An additional 50 meters will take you to the wood bridge spanning McGee Creek.

Start time: 8:30 a.m. from the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.

14k Walk

A tightly-packed gravel trail with a gentle slope, surrounded by forest and featuring the magnificent Kinsol Trestle

Route: walkers are bused to the trail head at Renfrew Road to start their hike along the Trans Canada trail. Walkers have the option of hiking an additional 50 meters to the wood bridge spanning McGee Creek.

Start time: meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.

Shawnigan Lake Walk - 22k

An easy to navigate route circling Shawnigan Lake, including paved roads, trails, hills and more

Route: the routes are clearly marked and easy to follow using the provided map.

Start time: 8:30 at the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.

Shawnigan Lake Walk - 27k

A continuation of the lovely 22k walk around the Lake!

Route: walkers will enjoy an additional 5k on the Trans Canada Trail. The routes are clearly marked and easy to follow, using the provided map.
