I have been a home care worker in Vancouver; a
costume maker for film, television and theatre; I
have run a costume rental company and I have a
degree in creative writing. I have worked as a cook
at the Duncan Garage Cafe and for three years ran
the kitchen at Warmland House. I also take on
garden design commissions. In the past I have been
a Brownie leader and volunteered for Somenos House.
My father has dementia and has lived with my sister
for the last three years, so I am aware of what it
takes to support a family member with difficulties.
I am pleased to play a small part in helping the
Cowichan Caregivers Society to support those people
who are looking after their loved ones.
