Maggie MacDonald
Facilitator Ladysmith and
Chemainus
Margaret, a "maritime girl first and always",
came to the Cowichan Valley in 2000. She brings to
us many years of caregiving experience.
With Bachelor's and Master's degrees in
education and psychology, Maggie taught elementary
and high school and Special Ed. She was also the
district manager for World Book Encyclopedia, and a
camp director for children of parents without
partners. She found this experience to be very
helpful in fine-tuning her understanding of family
dynamics and skills in working with families.
Margaret shares a loving relationship with her
seven grown children and their families.
She enjoys reading and entertaining, and anyone
experiencing her generous hospitality is likely to
feel loved and nurtured. Those who have had the
pleasure of knowing her have found their lives
enriched. Her love is genuine and open; meditation,
sacred healing, and prayer guide her in her daily
journey and as a facilitator.
