Horse remains in the Rendering Pit of Natural Valley Farms horse slaughter plant in Neudorf, Saskatchewan.

Note that the remains on the right-hand side have gone into black putrifaction. It takes 10-20 days of exposure to enter this stage of decomposition. The piles have been exposed at least that length of time, which is illegal according to provincial Environmental regulations.
