Leilani
Sanctuary's Namesake
Leilani spent twelve lonely years living alone in an isolated pasture with no other animals. When the landowner decided to develop the parcel, Leilani was almost sent to be auctioned off. Thankfully, a kind-hearted neighbor, Sue who is also a sanctuary volunteer, intervened and brought Leilani to this sanctuary that is named after her.
