Beltex Feedlot Horses need to be saved

Please Help to Salvage Mares and Foals From Beltex, TX, Feedlot!

FINALLY..the feedlot agreed to sell today. They will sell all the mares and foals on the lot. Approximately 25 pairs, so 50 horses. Pregnant mares are foaling every day. The coyote problem is BAD now..so they are losing some of them. This is their fate...a Mexican slaughterhouse. If he doesn't sell them to us then they will just keep them until the foals are old enough to go to slaughter with their Moms in Mexico.

$650 for each mare and foal. We need to collect as much as we can to try and save all of them. I have foster/permanent homes for 12. The East Coast rescues, Pure Thoughts, ac4H to name a couple have committed to take any that we cannot place in Texas. Approximately 12 pairs now. These will have to be transported. Dollars needed to get all of them safely off the lot:
25 mares and foals at $650 each = $16,250
Approximate cost of transport = $4,000
Total needed = $20,250

They will all be moved to a triage location together hopefully next Saturday, so we can get them off this nasty feedlot. Please help us get these mares and foals to safety!!!

1. All donations via paypal and check must be in Lynn's possession by this coming Tuesday. The lot owner will deal in cash only. Lynn needs four days to ensure all monies clear so that next Friday she has the cash in hand to buy the 25 mares and their foals. 2. There is no mail delivery on Monday. Snailmail is going to be iffy if you put a check in the mail tomarrow. You might want to look into overnight delivery options if a check is the only way you can get funds to Lynn. 3. Each mare and foal as a pair costs $650.00. The amount of $20,250.00 is the amount for the purchase price of 25 mares and their foals as well as the amount it will cost to transport half of the mare and foal pairs to East Coast rescues well known to the FOBS. (The cost for transport is $4000.00) Lynn has made all the arrangements, so all she needs is the cash to make this happen.
