BC Election 2013 Survey

The Provincial Government is the authority for wildlife in British Columbia, and therefore holds responsibility for policies around management. Our survey provides candidates with the opportunity to disclose their knowledge and attitudes towards the current situation in our province that has seen deer in BC communities culled over the past two winter seasons.

Our survey asks the BC candidates what their opinions are concerning public education regarding wildlife, studies on deer where there are perceived issues and attitudes toward lethal vs. non-lethal deer management. We also ask about their current knowledge of the recently-introduced method of culling deer in BC, the clover trap/bolt gun killing.
