hurRaw 09 Here is something to eat: Date Delight 2 Stalks of Celery (Add more stalks if to sweet for you.) 1-2 cups of Distilled water 10-15 Medjool Dates or any Type of Date you prefer Place the following into a blender (vita mix or powerful blender if you have one) and blend to your desired consistency. Add more dates if you wish it thicker or add more water to make less thick. You love this desert. Big G. Place all the above ingredients in a blender and blend until your desired consistency. In this Hurraw I have done some research to help you out , although I recommend that people chose there food in the following ways 1) Wild 2) Your own garden 3) Local Organic 4) Organic 5) Commercial 6) Steaming etc. Here is a list of foods that are found to be heavily sprayed with pesticides so please avoid these. Pesticides are dangerous stuff. The following list is marked from one onwards. Number one being the most toxic of all the list. Make it a great day. Here is something to know: A Humbling experience: You might want to set a side a minute or so to read this Hurraw!. Approximately 5-6 weeks ago I was playing in an indoor soccer game for the championship. A game that I was looking so forward to playing in. You see I love to exercise and soccer is a passion for me. While playing the game I was kicked in the legs several times. Immediately afterwards I had felt some discomfort but not enough to keep me from continuing to play so I did because I love the game so much . Without any limp etc. We won the game. I felt a little sore afterwards but nothing to serious. I felt in a day or so I will be up and running around again. Well, in the next few days my leg started to feel more and more tender. First it was my left foot so I compensated this by using more of my right foot. My left foot healed up and as a result of my compensating the right foot it now started to become sore with a lump as my left was fine. A week or so went by and people in my center of influence were concerned. So they where advising me to go to the doctor etc. I had no interest in doing this (because what could they do for me now, but if your really seriously injured then please do go) because I know the body has the ability to heal itself if given the chance (remember this, “given the chance”). With the result of the injury people around me became concerned and offered all kinds of advice which is not always in your best interest but due the best they can with the knowledge they have. This is something that is important for me to remember in all aspects of life. People do the best they can with the knowledge they have. So I decided to allow the body to heal. Of course at the same time I was trying to help a friend run her new business. I was running around all over the place buying used books, etc., cutting the grass (home) etc. while I was still limping. I felt this was the right thing to do at the time so I went around and around to help her out as much as I could. I was not getting paid for this. As a result of this I of course was not allowing the body to rest and therefore causing more harm. The lump was getting smaller (thanks to raw foods) however it was still very tender. Still walking with a limp I decided to take a water fast from Thursday to Monday. I knew the importance of doing this and enough was enough... I had to take time off to heal. I knew better. So I did and thanks to the support of my wife I was to have as much peace as possible to provide a peaceful environment to heal. This is important and can be difficult when you try to do this at home because due to other’s lack of knowledge, unfortunately they may react in ways that is not life giving. Remember fasting to most people means starvation and that scares the daylights out of them. However I had enough knowledge so I needed to put this now into action. After the water fast the lump did come down which was great but other benefits came from the fast as well. So today while doing some light martial art exercises with no kicking of course (right leg is still a little sore but much better) I realized a few things that I wanted to share with you. Sorry no food tips ;-) First of all one needs to take care of oneself. My willingness to try to help someone else was rather foolish. Instead of focusing on myself I would have been much better off and allowed my body to heal. I was provided so many signs but was thinking of others instead of me. This is why it is so important to take care of ourselves because we really can’t help others efficiently when we are not 100%. This is by no means selfish it is just something that is smart. I knew what I needed to do but knowledge is not enough it is the action that is more important. Secondly I was working towards a business that I knew deep down inside wasn’t going to be a success. I was going to be involved with someone who I thought was not the best person to do business with, a great person but not for business. So, going against what I knew would not be the right action I pursued it (due to brief lack of intelligence ;-) and this affected the healing of not only of my leg but the ability of trusting oneself as well. Never allow emotions to get involved with common sense. Thirdly the importance of having those around you understand what is going on is very important. I am thankful that Denise (a great person) tried to understand the importance of letting one do what one needs to do. For example if she had reminded me every hour that I needed to do this or go and see this person it would have been in complete opposite of what I needed to do. This would have caused conflict. It is important to let others in your immediate circle know what is going on (you don’t need to tell them everything) but at least tell them your situation this will free up your energy on more productive things rather than defending yourself druing the healing process in my case. Fourth pay attention to the signs in your life. I feel now that this injury (which I normally don’t suffer from) is a result of me heading the wrong direction. Make sense? well even while in pain I was working with and towards a business that was ( not obvious to me at that time) the right direction. And because legs help us move, I think that my legs needed to be injured so I could no longer head in that particular direction. My injury forced me to slow down and rethink where I was going. The fast which I took was powerful for my mind, body and soul it allowed me to see this more clearly. That is why the greatest thinkers fasted often when they needed to. Fifth please take time to rest. We live in a insane society that when one is seen resting they are labeled as lazy, unmotivated etc. Don’t fall into this trap. Rest is vital to health you can eat all the right foods but if you don’t rest it will put a big damper on your health. Please rest no matter what anyone else says or does. Let others destroy themselves if they wish. Conserve your vital energy. Nurture yourself as you would a baby. Would you wake a baby with an alarm clock? Sixth the time that I used now not running around allowed me to do things like meditate. Which I won’t go into details now but is important in one’s life. Meditation is basically relaxation nothing more complicated than that the method you chose is up to you. These were a few things that came to mind. You see I am not perfect. Actually I laugh at myself to see how foolish I was and am. I laugh often at how funny I act. This was typed in some way so that it might save someone else from being just as foolish.
