hurRaw 05 Here is something to eat: Nori Rolls 2 cups of sunflower seeds soaked for 8 hours then rinsed 1 small onion (red) 3 stalks of celery 5-10 sheets of nori (un-roasted usually are purple in color not green) 2 avocados 2 carrots Juice of ½ a lemon Sprouts if you wish Herbs of your choice Place all the above (except for nori Rolls) into a food processor or a Green life juicer and grind until a pate like consistency. With a spoon or fork scoop out the food and place it at the bottom of the nori roll. Fill about 2 inches worth of the Nori than grab the bottom of the roll and begin to roll the Nori so it looks similar to a cigar at the end. Now wet your finger tips and moisten the top of the roll so it provides a seal to your roll. Continue doing this until your desired quantities. You can cut the Rolls in half (this can be a challenge or you can cut the sheets first in half and than roll. I find this a little easier). I use this recipe once in awhile for something a little different. Enjoy! Here is something to know: Hi! In this issue we will discuss something that will be an opportunity to enhance your growth. What is Big G talking about? The growth that I am talking about is your ability to make choices. During this festive season you will be presented with many choices. As I have mentioned in past HurRaw’s that the ability to choose is a great gift bestowed upon us. A gift that many literally fight for in today’s societies. Because HurRaw is based on health principles, we will discuss how to make better choices in the way we attend these events mentally and of course through what we put into our mouths. I stress what we put into our mouths because no one can really force us to eat anything that we don’t want to eat, we always choose that. Although emotions do play a large role in eating over the festive holidays (they bring back certain feelings while growing up), I would suggest that before you do eat a particular food that you know will make you feel good for about 30 seconds and than miserable for the next 24 hours that you see why you are eating this particular food. Don’t over analyze it just observe your thoughts and see where they go at that time that’s all. I guarantee you a lot will be revealed and with this information you can now address the opportunity and make some inner shifts that will lead you down a powerful path. Remember for every disciplined effort there are multiple rewards. Eating a Raw based diet is not a Religion by any means. It is not about depriving oneself of anything. It is all about abundance. We have an abundant world we have just been taught to believe that what is natural exists in the supermarket and this is not Nature at all. Eating Vegan food should never be out of guilt. One should always be grateful for the food and the opportunity to have saved another life. Our choices have a bigger impact than we could even imagine. So enjoy the holiday season and live with passion. For now take care and make it a great day.
