Here is something to know: You probably have noticed that there is a lot of media attention to this Protein diet. It is a diet where you consume more Protein based foods and dramatically reduce your carbohydrate intake. Starchy foods, especially refined starches are exceptionally low in enzymes and most vitamins. Starches require cooking prior to their consumption (have you ever tried to eat Raw Flour?).
